What is Felted Soap?  Simply a Felted soap is a bar of soap wrapped in wool. 

Our skin is unique to each one of us and using a felted soap gives your skin a gentle exoliation and cleanse without scratching.  Felted soap elimnates soap wastage as the wool shrinks along with the soap making it last much longer than a regular soap. Felted soap is antifungal and antibacterial and very easy to hold in the shower.  Our felted wool soaps are wrapped over natural scented soap bars.

How do you make a felted soap?  Each  bar of soap is wrappe around layers of a blend of corridale & merrio wools. Once wrapped we then dip into hot water to shrink the wool onto the soap  and then lots of rubbing until the fibres become matted together creating a felted fabric on the soap.  This is all done by hand.   Each bar takes 10-15 minutes each to make as there is alot of massaging of fibres to get the desired effect.
